The Haval H9 2021 will remain a large body-on-frame SUV and is positioned as a more affordable alternative to Toyota Land Cruiser Prado and Mitsubishi Pajero Sport. It is known that the car will be built on the Wey Tank 300 platform.
Judging by the pictures, the design of Haval H9 will become more aggressive, and smooth body lines will be replaced by edges and angles. Thin LED headlights and taillights catch the eye.

In the cabin, a virtual instrument cluster and a large 12.3-inch touchscreen will obviously appear, like in the same Wey Tank 300. Versions for 5 and 7 seats will still be offered.
The new Haval H9 will retain the 2.0-liter 245-horsepower gasoline turbo engine and 8-speed automatic transmission. But the 190-horsepower diesel version is still in question.
However, it is known for sure that all-wheel drive with low-range gearing and differential locks will remain. In addition, the Chinese SUV will get a driving mode selection system for different types of off-road.
