The updated Haval H9 of the 2021 model year received only light exterior tweaks. What catches the eye is a different radiator grille with "shark" teeth, LED optics, and a more sculpted front bumper. The rear of the car is distinguished by new taillights.

Inside, a digital instrument cluster is now installed, and the diagonal of the central touchscreen has grown to 9.0 inches. Modifications with five and seven seats are still available. The list of equipment has added adaptive cruise control and a system that warns of obstacles when reversing.

The powertrain lineup of the Haval H9 has not changed. The Chinese off-roader is offered with a 2.0-liter turbocharged gasoline engine producing 245 hp, as well as a diesel of the same displacement, delivering 190 hp.

Meanwhile, work is already underway on the Haval H9 of the second generation. It is expected that the new model will get a more expressive appearance and will be based on a new architecture.
