The new second-generation Hyundai Creta, which is already produced in India and sold in a number of Asian countries, was taken as the base. The Hyundai Alcazar is noticeably larger – its wheelbase was increased by 150 mm (to 2760 mm), and the length reached about 4.5 m.

In terms of design, the Hyundai Alcazar 2021 is similar to the Creta – it has the same two-tier lighting and widened fenders. However, the radiator grille and bumpers are somewhat different, and the tailgate has been replaced.

Options for 6 and 7 seats will be offered. With all rows of seats in place, the trunk remains 180 liters. Among the options are adaptive cruise control and surround-view cameras.

Initially, a 2.0-liter naturally aspirated gasoline four-cylinder with 160 hp and a 1.5-liter 115-horsepower turbodiesel will be offered. Later, a 1.4-liter gasoline turbo engine with 140 hp may also appear. For the Hyundai Alcazar, 6-speed manual and automatic transmissions are available, but the drive is currently front-wheel only (although the Creta can have all-wheel drive).
