Land Rover has evidently decided to create a competitor for the German crossover Mercedes-Benz GLB, which, despite its compact dimensions, boasts a seven-seat interior. The Range Rover Evoque LWB will not be the first long-wheelbase model from the British firm, as an extended version of the flagship SUV Range Rover was already presented back in 2013.

The seven-seat Range Rover Evoque will essentially become the only rival to the GLB in the premium segment of compact crossovers with three rows of seats.

It is expected that the extended Range Rover Evoque LWB may debut either this autumn or at the very beginning of next year.
