An indirect confirmation of this version is that the new generation Kia Sportage has still not once been caught by spy photographers during road tests. At the same time, other announced models have already been repeatedly spotted in tests. Among them is the related Sportage crossover Hyundai Tucson, built on the same platform. It has already been caught several times in tests, which indicates that the technical part of the new Sportage does not raise any complaints.
Korean media report that the premiere of the new Kia Sportage has been postponed by at least a year, so the model's debut should be expected no earlier than next summer.
