The coupe, whose price will be approximately five million dollars, will be shown to the public for the first time on August 24 at the California exhibition The Quail.

The hypercar was named in honor of the famous French pilot Albert Divo, who twice won the Sicilian race Targa Florio back in the 1920s. Apparently, this car will be one of the most ruthless and radical in Bugatti's history.

The new model will be based on the platform from the Chiron, but the Divo will differ noticeably from its "donor": the designers promise reduced weight, improved aerodynamics, and much more precise and sharper handling.

According to unofficial data, under the hood will remain the same eight-liter W16 engine with four turbines, which produces one and a half thousand horsepower. It is expected that the new coupe will be more agile than the "Chiron": the latter accelerates to a hundred in 2.5 seconds, and its top speed is artificially limited to 420 kilometers per hour. To remove this restriction, a special key is needed, and then the car can accelerate up to 485 kilometers per hour.
