The new Peugeot 508 has not only turned into an elegant hatchback, but has also noticeably decreased in size. The model's length has been reduced by 80 mm (4750 mm), the height has decreased by 60 mm (1400), and the wheelbase has lost 27 mm (2790). Only the width has increased – from 1828 to 1840 mm.

The 508 also got a GT version, which stands out with the design of the radiator grille and exhaust pipes, as well as alloy wheels.

Like other Peugeot models, the 508 has adopted the stylish i-Cockpit interior with a virtual instrument panel and a 10-inch multimedia system screen. Frameless doors now add an additional effect.

The engine lineup consists of petrol turbo engines 1.6 PureTech with 180 or 225 hp, as well as diesels 1.5 BlueHDi (130 hp) and 2.0 BlueHDi (160 and 180 hp). The engines are paired with a six-speed manual or an eight-speed automatic.

The model's equipment now includes fully LED headlights, adaptive cruise control with automatic braking function, an auto-parking system, and other useful features.

The premiere of the new Peugeot 508 will take place at the Geneva Motor Show. Sales of the model will start in September, but the manufacturer has not yet decided on prices.
