The universal version of the Peugeot 308 SW has stretched in length to 4640 mm, which is about 30 cm more than the regular hatchback. The wheelbase reaches 2732 mm. Such dimensions have provided an increase in free space in the cabin and allowed the luggage compartment volume to be brought to 608–1634 liters.

The exterior of the new model repeats the styling of the hatchback: the same large radiator grille, narrow LED headlights and embossed side panels. The engineers managed to achieve good aerodynamics — the drag coefficient of the station wagon is 0.277.

Inside — the signature i-Cockpit: the virtual instrument panel is mounted high, and the steering wheel is compact. In top trim levels, the interior is upholstered in Nappa leather, and the front seats are equipped with electric adjustments.

For the Peugeot 308 SW of the 2021 model year, two engines are announced: a 1.2-liter turbocharged petrol engine producing 130 hp, and a 1.5-liter turbodiesel with the same output. In addition, plug-in hybrids with 180 and 225 hp will appear in the range.
