The main changes affected the front of the model. The updated Prado received new bumpers, hood, and radiator grille, as well as fully LED optics.

The interior features a new steering wheel and an enlarged 8-inch multimedia screen, as well as a revised central console layout. In addition, the interior is trimmed with higher-quality materials.

The options list now includes the Toyota Safety Sense system, which includes automatic braking, lane keeping assist, as well as pedestrian and blind spot monitoring.

Apart from an increase in length by 60 mm (to 4840 mm), the Land Cruiser Prado received no technical changes. The engine lineup remains the same with two petrol units (2.7 and 4.0 liters) and one diesel engine (2.8 liters).
Sales of the upgraded SUV will begin before the end of the year. Prices will be announced closer to the start of sales.
