The 15th – anniversary VOLVO V40 Cross Country was won by 24-year-old Vadym Taran from the urban-type settlement Novoarkhanhelsk, Kirovohrad region, in a tense competition on the football field. Luck smiled on Vadym, who hit the small goal on his first attempt. The winner admitted that he had never been particularly keen on football, but he had simply trained hard for the competition together with his brother.
The September car draw put an end to the promotion that had lasted for more than a year at the OKKO filling station network. The "Win a car or a fuel discount" promotion was significant not only because the network gave away 15 high-class cars and thereby made 15 Ukrainian families happy, but also because it was a no-lose promotion. Everyone who met the conditions received a gift – a fuel discount of up to UAH 5 per liter.
"This promotion was very important for us, because besides positive emotions and gifts, it touched on more important things. We only provided a chance, but the victory depended 100% on the participants themselves, their persistence and belief in their own strength! When we talked to the winners, they told incredible stories about how they prepared for the competitions, some even made a copy of the smallest goal and carried it with them to train in any free minute. Such persistence definitely deserves a reward," comments Vasyl Dmytryv, marketing director of the OKKO filling station network.
The promotion is over, but that does not mean that OKKO will stop there. Since September 1, a new promotion "Personal discounts" has already started. Meanwhile, the network is already working on launching something new that will give customers even more impressions and positive emotions.
