As expected, the design of the new model is made in the style of the eponymous concept, but the appearance of the production model has lost many of the "show-car" elements.

The crossover is built on the basis of the Polo hatchback. In length, the T-Roc stretches to 4234 mm, in width – to 1819, and in height – to 1573. The wheelbase is 2603 mm. The trunk volume is 445 liters.
The two-tone interior is not too different from the "donor" Polo, standing out primarily in the placement of the air duct deflectors.

As befits a crossover, the T-Roc can boast all-wheel drive 4Motion, supplemented by active DCC chassis and Active Control function, which allows you to select one of four driving modes: Street, Snow, Offroad and Offroad Individual.
The base T-Roc with a 115-horsepower 1.0 TSI engine is available only with front-wheel drive and a manual transmission. All-wheel drive and a 7-speed "robot" DSG appear in the package with a 1.5-liter TSI with 150 hp, and the 190-horsepower top version with a two-liter turbo engine is equipped by default.

The diesel line of power units includes a 115-horsepower engine producing 115 hp, as well as a two-liter engine in two power versions – 150 and 190 hp.
The crossover can be equipped with a full set of modern safety systems, including automatic braking function and active cruise control.
Production of the Volkswagen T-Roc is established at a plant in Portugal. Sales are scheduled to start at the end of autumn, but prices have not yet been disclosed.
