The recently debuted Volvo V90 Cross Country has gained another competitor. True, it is hard to call the new modification a full-fledged off-road vehicle, due to its more than modest ground clearance of only 156 mm, which is provided by the Air Body Control air suspension. An additional off-road mode will allow raising the clearance by another 20 mm, but the car will maintain this height only at speeds up to 35 km/h.

Externally, apart from the plastic body kit around the perimeter, the All-Terrain version can be distinguished by new 19- or 20-inch wheels. The interior is distinguished only by steel pedal covers.

Under the hood of the station wagon is the only available two-liter diesel engine with 194 hp and a torque of 400 Nm, which works in conjunction with a 9-speed automatic transmission. The engine can accelerate the car to 232 km/h, reaching the first hundred on the speedometer in 8 seconds.

The official debut of the newcomer will take place at the Paris Motor Show. The Mercedes-Benz E-Class All-Terrain will go on sale at the beginning of next year.
