Fedorov said that at the first stage, a pilot project will be launched, within which the system will be tested in real conditions. The key feature of the innovation is the use of artificial intelligence, which will monitor a person's actions during the exam. It is expected that this will make the process more transparent and secure, as well as reduce risks associated with the human factor, including the possibility of falsifying results.
The Minister also reported that within the framework of digital transformation, the Ministry of Digital Transformation aims to minimize the need for personal visits of citizens to service centers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Therefore, soon drivers will be able to process all necessary documents remotely — from car registration to passing exams for obtaining a driver's license.
Today, Ukrainians already have access to the online car sale and purchase service, which was introduced earlier. And this is just the beginning. Fedorov emphasized that the Ministry of Digital Transformation continues to develop new digital tools that should simplify obtaining a driver's license and other administrative services.
Digital changes in Ukraine are increasingly becoming part of everyday life, and the introduction of an online driving exam is just one of the stages of the transition to full digitalization of public services. Such innovations are not only more convenient for people but also increase the efficiency of state bodies. Thus, the country is gradually moving towards international standards in the field of administrative services and technological solutions.
In the future, online exams may become not only a new stage for drivers but also the basis for the implementation of other electronic services for the population, which will help reduce bureaucracy and save time.
