Previously, the training course lasted two months, after which two exams were taken at once. Now the learning process will be divided into two stages, each lasting one month — first theory, then practice. Exams will accordingly be taken after the completion of each of these stages.
The theoretical exam will not change — 20 minutes are allotted for answering 20 questions, with no more than two mistakes allowed.
After successfully passing the theoretical exam, a certificate is issued that is valid for one year. During this period, you can contact a driving school to undergo practical training. After its completion, a document on practical training is issued, which is valid for two years.

"A modern person cannot sit and study for 9.5 hours a day, it is very hard. Unfortunately, not all driving schools in the country have a clear plan on how to work", explains the change, driving school instructor Mykyta Nemyaty.
Innovations for drivers in the EU
European deputies supported a decision that will allow refugees from Ukraine to use national driver's licenses.
In essence, this means that Ukrainian driver's licenses are equated to European ones, and those citizens who have acquired official temporary protection status can not exchange their licenses for European ones, but use their own for trips around Europe.
