From the first of July, preferential conditions for customs clearance of vehicles with foreign registration ceased to apply in Ukraine. Due to various circumstances, not all owners managed to take advantage of this opportunity.
Many citizens found themselves in a difficult situation at the border: they submitted preliminary customs declarations but did not manage to complete the customs clearance procedure. In view of this, the Verkhovna Rada is considering the possibility of allowing the completion of customs clearance of such cars under preferential conditions.
In particular, it is planned to provide the opportunity within one month to register free of charge cars with foreign license plates that were declared before July 1, 2022. At the same time, the cost of such vehicles should not exceed 10 thousand dollars.
