As reported by the resource "Chinese Cars", the new warranty program took effect on February 1. It covers five models sold in China (crossovers Tiggo 8, Tiggo 7, Tiggo 5x (in Ukraine this model is known as Tiggo 4), Tiggo 3x (in our region - Tiggo 2) and the Arrizo 5 sedan), but in the future it will also extend to future cars of the brand.
By the way, despite the fact that such an "attraction of unheard-of generosity" does not apply to Ukraine, there is also good news for domestic buyers - at least, such behavior of the manufacturer indicates that it guarantees the quality of power units. In Ukraine, Chery engines are covered by a warranty of three years or 100,000 km of mileage (for other components - 5 years or 150,000 km).
As of 2021, Chery has produced about 8.8 million engines. Most of them are the 1.6 TGDI engine, which equips most of the brand's cars. Later, the range of units will be supplemented by 1.5TGDI and 2.0TGDI engines, as well as the DHT Hybrid hybrid drive.
