As stated by Kia's management, the new logo reflects the brand's desire to become a symbol of change and innovation, and it differs greatly from the previous "badge." Thus, the emblem has lost its well-known framing oval, and the inscription itself is now made in a different font that resembles a handwritten signature.

In addition to its new logo, the prototype of which, by the way, was first shown in 2019 at the Geneva Motor Show, Kia also presented its new slogan: "Movement that inspires." Previously, the brand's motto was the phrase "The art/power to surprise."

By the way, the company has already announced its sales plans for the new year 2021. Over the next 12 months, the South Korean brand intends to sell 2.92 million cars. Last year, the company sold 2.6 million cars, which is 5.9% less than in 2019 – this decline is due to the coronavirus pandemic and quarantine restrictions around the world.
