The sedan was built in 2014 and has been kept in the brand's museum, located on the territory of the research and technical center of the former NOHAB plant in Trollhättan, until now. The car's mileage is only 66 kilometers.

The last real Saab is the 9-3 Aero Turbo4 sedan with a two-liter turbocharged gasoline engine producing 220 horsepower, as well as a six-speed automatic transmission. Such cars were produced by the new owner of Saab, the NEVS holding, from 2013 to 2014. They differed from previous models only in the logo, seats, and body color — only two options were available: white and black.

The Swedish-Chinese holding NEVS acquired Saab's assets a year after the company declared bankruptcy. As a result, 420 cars were assembled from 2013 to 2014, but NEVS management never managed to establish truly mass production.
