The sales leader was the compact crossover Kia Sportage. From January to September, 4,178 such cars were registered with Ukrainian plates. Notably, the vast majority of these vehicles — 92% — were purchased by private buyers, which indicates how well this model meets the demands of the modern Ukrainian driver.

The second position was taken by the Renault Duster, which gained 3,503 registration plates over nine months. The success of this model was largely driven by corporate buyers: legal entities became owners of 62% of the compact SUVs from Renault sold since the beginning of the year.

The top three most sought-after cars in Ukraine was rounded out by another compact crossover — the Toyota RAV-4. 2,978 people chose this car, with 80% of them being private individuals.

The fourth spot went to the Renault Logan, which sold 2,854 units.

The top five is completed by the Renault Sandero with 2,010 registrations.
