The FAW B30 was developed on the basis of the PQ32 platform of the German concern Volkswagen. The exterior of the car has a modern look. The front part has a predatory appearance thanks to a massive chrome hexagonal radiator grille with the FAW logo on it. The stylish bumper shape and daytime running lights add solidity. The interior design is made in accordance with modern requirements: high-quality fabric upholstery with eco-leather elements.
The FAW B30 has a spacious interior thanks to its dimensions (4625 mm in length, 1790 mm in width and 1500 mm in height) and a wheelbase of 2630 mm, as well as a large trunk volume of 480 liters. The new product is equipped with a 1.6-liter naturally aspirated gasoline engine with a power of 109 hp and a 6-speed Japanese automatic transmission AISIN. The fuel consumption declared by the factory in the combined cycle is 6.7 l/100 km.
The FAW B30 has an independent suspension with McPherson struts at the front and a torsion beam at the rear with a semi-independent rear suspension. This additionally increases the stability of the car and allows for a smooth ride and stable handling. Also, the car is equipped with disc brakes on all four wheels, electric power steering and has a low weight: the curb weight varies between 1230-1270 kg.
The FAW B30 has a whole set of safety systems: ABS, EBD, TCS, ESP, 2 airbags for the driver and front passenger, central locking and immobilizer, automatic door unlocking in case of an accident. In addition, the FAW B30 has a body with increased rigidity thanks to the reinforced 3H structure. Eagle-eye LED headlights illuminate the road with more intense light.
Maximum comfort for the driver and passengers will be provided by: electric power steering, central locking, full electric package, air conditioning, cruise control, rear parking sensors with a video camera, power sunroof, leather multifunction steering wheel.
