In 2012, the Cadillac ATS hit the market, which was supposed to replace the BLS sedan that had failed to live up to expectations. However, the newcomer also did not win laurels from American buyers. Over five years, only 141,799 cars were sold — one of the weakest figures in the D segment.
Production of the last ATS will end in the middle of this summer. At the same time, the extended ATS-L modification for the Chinese market and the ATS Coupe will remain in production for now.
It is possible that Cadillac will decide to follow the scenario of the Ford concern, gradually abandoning sedans that are not in demand.
