Compared to the regular GTI, the new version differs not only in its "feathering" but also in an improved engine cooling system, reinforced brakes, and exclusive 19-inch wheels.

Inside, the attention is drawn to the original design of the sports seats and the steering wheel with red stitching and a "zero mark."

The front-wheel-drive Golf GTI TCR is powered by a two-liter turbo engine producing 290 hp and 370 Nm. The engine is paired with a 7-speed DSG "robot." The maximum speed of the hot hatch is 264 km/h (with the limiter removed), but the manufacturer has not yet disclosed the acceleration dynamics.

The concept status of the new Golf GTI version was assigned conditionally, as the model is fully ready for mass production, which they promise to start this autumn.
