Townstar uses the CMF-C platform from Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi, and the latest Renault Kangoo (debuted in March) is built on the same chassis. Moreover, both cars share not only the technical part but also the design. The Nissan differs from the "Frenchman" only in the front styling with a wide multi-section radiator grille and elongated LED headlights.
