As the publication Kremenchuk Operatyvnyi found out, the customer for the Ukrainian trucks was the company US21 Inc., located in Fairfax, Virginia, USA. This company specializes in supplies for the federal government, the Ministry of Defense, and other US government agencies.

According to the contract, KrAZ must deliver the trucks within three years (this was reported earlier, as soon as the news about the reached agreements appeared). Which vehicles these will be and in what quantity is still unknown, but it is assumed that we are talking about flatbed trucks KrAZ-5233VE Spetsnaz (and other modifications of the 5233 family) in quantities of about 1,000 units. In 2014, such a truck cost approximately 52 thousand dollars, and over the past time, if its price has changed in dollars, it has been insignificant (simple math suggests that for 53 million dollars, about a thousand "Spetsnaz" trucks could be purchased).

However, you won't be able to meet KrAZ trucks in the US Army itself – it is expected that the American military will transfer the vehicles to their allies or to UN peacekeeping missions.

By the way, a few words about the KrAZ-5233VE Spetsnaz itself. The vehicle has been produced since 2008; it is a multifunctional high-flotation vehicle for transporting personnel and cargo, towing artillery systems up to 152 mm caliber, transport and special trailers on all types of roads and off-road. The payload capacity of the "Spetsnaz" is 6 tons, and the maximum speed on the highway is 120 km/h.
