New patrol police cars – Toyota Corolla
If we trust the contracts from May 2021, the texts of which are published on the ProZorro portal, the National Police purchased 70 Corollas. Thus, 40 cars were bought for UAH 565.2 thousand each, and another 30 for UAH 516.1 thousand each. Obviously, the price difference is related to trim levels.
Currently, the basis of the National Police fleet consists of Toyota Prius, Mitsubishi Outlander, and Skoda Rapid. And recently, the Ministry of Internal Affairs has started to bet on Renault models – Logan and Duster. By the way, under the same contracts from May 2021, the cops also purchased 300 new Dusters, paying UAH 560 thousand each.
At retail, the Toyota Corolla is sold at a price from UAH 557.8 thousand to UAH 761.8 thousand. In our market, the car is available with a 1.6-liter petrol engine (gearbox – manual, automatic) and a hybrid setup based on a 1.8 engine (automatic only).
