As before, the leadership in the ranking belongs to Volkswagen, whose share amounted to 21.2% — this is a significant gap from other manufacturers. The second step was taken by VAZ, and in third place was Renault, which was separated from the Russian brand by only a small number of completed deals.
In the model standings, the undisputed leader again turned out to be Volkswagen Passat — this model has not yielded to competitors for a long time and confidently holds the lead. In addition to it, Skoda Octavia and Volkswagen Golf were consistently in high demand.
The average age of a car that changes owner on the secondary market has not changed and is 15.8 years. However, among all cars sold in April, there were real rarities: ZiM-12 from 1954, as well as two GAZ models — 69 and M-20, both from 1955. These cars are living witnesses of past decades that are still in working condition.
There were also purchases in the premium segment. In April, the following brands changed owners:
-
1 Maybach
-
2 Lotus
-
3 BMW Alpina
-
4 Rolls-Royce
-
4 Aston Martin
-
7 Lamborghini
-
10 Bentley
-
16 Maserati
So, even when overall sales figures decline, luxury brands still attract buyers' attention.
