Used hybrids in 2026: five models from $8,500
The selection by Autoportal experts includes hatchbacks and crossovers priced from $8,500 to $36,000 with real city fuel consumption of about 4.0-5.5 l/100 km.
1. Toyota Prius c 2012-2019 - from $8,500
The most affordable model on the list costs $8,500-11,500 and consumes about 4.0 l/100 km. The Toyota Prius c stands out for its simple design and inexpensive maintenance. The Japanese version Aqua has right-hand drive.
2. Kia Niro Hybrid 2016-2022 - from $12,500
Pre-facelift Kia Niro Hybrid costs $12,500-15,500, facelifted versions - $16,000-18,500. Fuel consumption is about 4.5 l/100 km. The hybrid is equipped with a 6-speed DCT gearbox. The cheapest cars are often rebuilt after US insurance auctions.
3. Toyota Prius XW50 2015-2019 - from $13,500
The fourth-generation Toyota Prius is built on the TNGA platform. Prices range from $13,500-16,500, and city fuel consumption is about 4.2 l/100 km. Cars near the lower price limit may have mileage over 150-200 thousand km.

5. Hyundai Tucson Hybrid 2020-2025 - from $23,000
Hyundai Tucson Hybrid NX4 costs $23,000-32,000. The powertrain combines a 1.6-liter turbo engine with an electric motor and a 6-speed automatic. Power is 230 hp, acceleration to 100 km/h takes about 8 seconds, and city fuel consumption is approximately 5.5 l/100 km.
