Now the model is simply called Volkswagen Beetle — without the New prefix. In terms of design, the third generation of the "Beetle" almost repeats the previous version, and Volkswagen explains this by saying that the car's appearance has long become a classic, and any radical experiments with it could destroy the entire concept.

The interior of the new Beetle, on the contrary, has changed radically — inside, the car has become noticeably more serious. As it turned out, many owners, especially men, were not delighted with the various playful details in the old cabin. It is also worth noting that the body has become wider than its predecessor, which means there is a little more free space in the cabin.
