Italian craftsmen from the Aznom studio, based in Monza, also decided not to lag behind this trend.
They took on the refinement of the Fiat 500 Abarth. As a result of the tuning, the engine output increased to 230 horsepower, and the maximum torque reached 330 Nm. The engineers also managed to lighten the car — its weight is now 1050 kilograms. The acceleration dynamics from standstill to 100 km/h improved to 4.7 seconds. This project was named Motore Centrale R230.
You can evaluate the result of the tuners' work in two videos. The first shows a short test drive of this "hot" hatchback, and the second shows how a professional driver handles the car in a controlled drift.
