The Peugeot 108 shares its platform with the Citroen C1 and Toyota Aygo, and its European competitor can be called the Volkswagen up. The French car is slightly smaller than the German compact, yielding 7 cm in length and 4 cm in width. The dimensions of the new model are as follows: length - 3470 mm, width - 1620 mm.

The range of power units is limited to gasoline 1.0-liter and 1.2-liter engines. The promising diesel turned out to be too expensive due to the requirement to comply with Euro-6 standards.
The 1.0-liter engine develops a power of 69 hp, and the 1.2-liter – 83 hp. The transmission, as before, is presented in two variants: 5-speed manual or "robot".

For the "baby", the package of available options has been expanded. Already in the "base" there are six airbags and ESP. And for an additional fee, you can install: keyless entry system, start-stop system, multimedia with a 7-inch touchscreen monitor, rear view camera, and a sliding fabric roof. In addition, the French promise wide possibilities for individualizing the car through various design themes.

The cost of the model and other details will become known in March, during the Geneva Motor Show.
