STORM began to be created two years ago in Kyiv, and the first prototype in Ukraine was equipped with a diesel engine. The project attracted the interest of Highland Systems from the UAE, which invited the team of designers led by Alexander Kuznetsov there.

STORM weighs 8 tons and is designed for six people. The armored vehicle received a hybrid power plant with a capacity of 2500 hp and can reach 140 km/h on land and 30 km/h on water. It can operate continuously for 18-36 hours, and it is not afraid of sea waves up to one and a half meters high.

The battery for the hybrid was created in China – at an enterprise producing batteries for Tesla. The armor was ordered in Finland, and special shock absorbers capable of withstanding up to 65 tons were ordered in Australia.
STORM is planned to be equipped with mounts for a machine gun or anti-tank system, and equipment for full submersion underwater will also appear. And soon, a wheeled version will join the tracked version.
