For Ukraine, this will be a new achievement. For comparison, in 2020, just over 4 thousand kilometers of roads were put in order.

"We are not going to stop in 2021. We plan to repair 4500 km of state highways and 2000 km of local roads," noted Volodymyr Zelensky.

The President also outlined key road work projects. Among them is the start of construction of a ring road around the capital, 150 km long. Significant projects include the Kyiv-Chisinau route (570 km) and M-30 Stryi-Izvarine (1392 km), which is designed to connect the western and eastern regions of the country.

In addition, repair of the Mariupol-Berdyansk section is planned. Also, within the framework of the "Small Carpathian Ring" initiative aimed at tourism development, 320 km of roads in Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, and Zakarpattia regions will be restored.

During 2021, the authorities intend to build or reconstruct 245 bridges (last year, 216 were updated). One of the priority projects is the crossing over the Dnipro in Kremenchuk.
