In the video, the Porsche Taycan Cross Turismo “poses” in front of the viewer without any camouflage: the car drives along the roads of the Porsche development center in Weissach (located 25 km from the brand's headquarters), and it is driven directly by the head of the Taycan line, Stefan Weckbach. During the runs, the top manager emphasized that the new product easily copes with light off-road and gravel sections thanks to its high ground clearance, recalibrated suspension, and a special off-road mode.

The Porsche Taycan Cross Turismo should essentially become the brand's first electric crossover. It is built on the basis of the regular Taycan and will differ from the latter by an elongated and raised body (in the rear part), due to which it will get a larger trunk. In addition, the electric station wagon will get a different “face” and, in fact, the aforementioned increased ground clearance, thanks to which it will claim to be called an SUV.
It is expected that the Taycan Cross Turismo will be available in versions with 523 hp (4S), 671 hp (Turbo), and 751 hp (Turbo S). But whether it will have base 408- and 476-horsepower variants, like the standard Taycan, is unknown.
Prices are not yet known, but it is obvious that the cross-wagon will be priced higher than the fastback.
