This project launches a series of events planned under the social program “Fishka. Charity”. All Fishka cardholders can participate by directing their accumulated bonuses to a chosen good cause — details are available on the program page.

The “Dzherelo” Center has been working for 25 years on the rehabilitation and social adaptation of children, including those who use wheelchairs. Currently, more than 100 such children are under the care of the institution. The center has a workshop where standard wheelchairs are modified to meet the individual needs of each child. Thanks to funds raised through the “Fishka. Charity” initiative, it is possible to purchase necessary parts and pay for the work of craftsmen. As a result, children receive more comfortable equipment that increases their mobility.

“Each of our wards has their own developmental features, and this often requires modifying standard wheelchairs,” says Natalia Syredzhuk, head of the social projects and development department at the “Dzherelo” Center. “We always value the help of caring people. The responsible position and support from business inspire us to continue our work and open new prospects for children with special needs.”

It is for such purposes that the “Fishka. Charity” program was created. It encourages participants to spend accumulated points on supporting significant social causes, including helping the sick and children from vulnerable groups, as well as environmental protection. Fundraising for two new projects is already open.

The first is support for the Dnipro volunteer group “Doctor Clown”, which organizes entertainment performances for children in hospitals. Over the course of a year, volunteers conduct up to 200 performances, bringing laughter to more than 6,000 young patients. The second project is helping a football team in Odesa, created by the “Path to Home” foundation for children and teenagers who have found themselves in difficult life situations. Through training and team games, children who have experienced crisis moments regain faith in friendship, mutual support, and also find a social circle and self-confidence.

“We plan to periodically update the list of projects that can receive points. After all, every act of kindness makes the world better, and with the Fishka program it is simple and convenient,” notes Yaroslava Polyakova, head of the corporate communications department at the OKKO network, the initiator of the “Fishka. Charity” program. “If each of the 4 million Fishka users transfers even a small amount to good deeds, the effect will be significant. We are ready to openly report for every hryvnia transferred on the initiative page.”
