According to V. Bondarenko, since January of this year, joint efforts of the city authorities and the prosecutor's office have removed 350 unauthorized gas filling stations for cars. Of these, 249 facilities were removed by their owners independently, and another 101 were liquidated by the city. In the near future, it is planned to demolish the remaining three illegal filling stations. He also noted that five previously dismantled LPG stations were reinstalled, and they will have to be removed again.

Earlier, V. Bondarenko stated that by May 1, the capital would be completely free of illegal gas filling stations. He emphasized that all demolished facilities were installed with serious violations of safety requirements and posed a real danger to the lives and health of citizens.

The head of the KCSA apparatus added that the next step will be to check stationary gas stations for compliance with legal norms, as well as to establish strict supervision to prevent the reappearance of such dangerous facilities in the city.
