Volvo has decided to include the popular video communication service Skype in the equipment list of its flagship models, which so far has been overlooked by all automakers.
Owners of the XC90 crossover, as well as the S90 and V90 models, will get access to Skype as a separate tab in the standard multimedia system. The Skype for Business version will support only voice calls, conferences, and recording of conversations.
The implementation of this feature is the result of a close partnership between Volvo and Microsoft.
