The model is made in a stylish and convenient form factor, with various connectors and controls ergonomically placed on it. Despite its compact dimensions (87x50x36), the Gazer F140 is equipped with a built-in 2.7" display and an auto power-off function. With it, you can view recorded video in real time and conveniently adjust the dash cam settings.
The dash cam is mounted on the windshield using a black vacuum mount, and the mounting system itself is compact enough to install the Gazer F140 as discreetly as possible. The quick-release mechanism allows you to remove the dash cam from the mount and put it back in seconds without effort. But the most important advantage of the new Gazer F140 mounting system is the ability to connect power directly through the bracket. The charger plug connects to the corresponding connector in the mount. That is, when installing or removing the dash cam from the bracket, you do not need to insert and remove the power plug each time.
Watch a detailed video review of the Gazer F140 with examples of video recording at different times of the day:
The F140 model records video in the highest Full HD resolution (1920x1080) with an optimal frame rate of 30 fps for perception. To ensure the image is as clear and detailed as possible, high-quality optics with a six-layer glass lens and an aperture of 2.0 are used. Combined with the advanced Sony Exmor sensor, widely used in modern professional video surveillance systems, this allows the Gazer F140 dash cam to record impressive video with impeccable detail and color reproduction both day and night.
Thanks to the wide 140° viewing angle, full coverage of the roadway in the frame is achieved for high video informativeness. At the same time, geometric distortions at the edges of the image, typical for wide-angle lenses, are minimized and almost invisible in the Gazer F140.
To avoid overly overexposed or overly darkened areas in the video when shooting against the light or with sharp changes in lighting in the frame, the Gazer F140 implements the WDR (Wide Dynamic Range) function. This technology is indispensable in security video surveillance systems that are critical to the presence of important details in the image. In lighting conditions where a regular camera will only capture a dark silhouette or a bright glare in the frame, a device with the WDR function will make these areas clear and readable. This will be an excellent solution to avoid "blind" areas in the video due to glare from the headlights of oncoming cars or when driving against the light.

The Gazer F140 also features Time-lapse shooting. When this mode is activated, the dash cam captures frames at long intervals but forms the final video file with a regular 30 fps rate. As a result, the user gets a type of time-lapse shooting, which will be an effective solution for saving space on the memory card when recording monotonous surroundings during long trips. And for active social media users, Time-lapse shooting will be a great reason to experiment and share an extraordinary video report of your trip with friends.
The Gazer F140 dash cam operates in an unattended mode: the device automatically turns on when the engine starts and stops recording in the same way when power supply is cut off (engine turned off). Recording is continuous thanks to the cyclic shooting mode: when the memory card is full, the dash cam independently finds the earliest recorded video fragment and saves a new clip instead.

To protect the most important video files recorded during sharp turns, braking, or impacts from cyclic deletion, the Gazer F140 implements a three-axis acceleration sensor – G-sensor. The sensor automatically detects sharp changes in the car's movement pattern and locks the current recording file from being overwritten. As a result, at the most crucial moment, the most significant fragments will be saved. You can also protect the desired clip from overwriting by pressing the "hot" button on the dash cam body.
For security video recording in a parked car, the Gazer F140 is equipped with a motion sensor. Thanks to this function, the dash cam switches to recording mode only when any movement is detected in the frame. Thus, the user does not have to watch hours of static video but gets only the most informative recordings.

When choosing a car dash cam, it is important to understand that there is always a chance that at some point this device may become the only proof of your innocence. If the clips are considered as evidence in court, the lack of permitting documentation for the recording device may be the first reason why you may be denied acceptance of video materials. To ensure that the Gazer F140 owner does not face such a problem, all car dash cams in the Gazer model range have state certificates of conformity UkrSEPRO. This document confirms the legality, safety, and compliance of all actual technical characteristics with the declared ones.
