On one of the sections of this highway, an experiment was conducted: "Development of highways in the Ukrainian part of the Carpathian Euroregion." It involved repairing the damaged section not by the usual patching of holes, but with a continuous segment.
Officials positively assessed the results and, according to them, in 2016 they will repair road surfaces across Ukraine in a similar manner. As they say, better late than never…
