According to the press center of the Kyiv police, the driver of a luxury sedan crossed a double solid line. After stopping the driver, the police informed him of the violation, to which the offender stated he was in a hurry and asked to limit himself to a verbal warning. However, the police still issued a fine of 255 UAH.

Of course, it is unlikely that such a fine would have hit the pocket of the Rolls driver hard. But in any case, it is nice to know that the police did not pay attention to the car brand and the status of its owner. Although, perhaps, to avoid further traffic violations, a practice of penalties based on the income of offenders would be more effective in Ukraine. Such a scheme is widespread in some European countries. On the other hand, in our country, it is practically impossible to rely on official incomes.
