The cause is air pollution caused by burning peatlands near Kyiv.
“Due to the excess of the maximum permissible level of pollutants in the air, the entry of large-sized transport into the territory of Kyiv will be restricted from 6:00 to 11:00,” the press service of the Kyiv City State Administration reported.
It should be noted that as of 11:30, the number of trucks on the approaches to the capital has not changed for the better. On the Boryspil, Zhytomyr, and Odesa highways, traffic jams are still observed.
