Yes, in September the Chinese released a model of the still-secret Volvo S90 sedan. And just recently, photos of a toy Volvo V90 station wagon appeared online. Judging by the model, the Swedes intend to break into the premium station wagon segment. After all, the car turned out stylish and prominent – clearly not a Swedish "suitcase".

It is known that the V90 is built on the SPA platform (Scalable Product Architecture, like the XC90), but with a transverse rather than longitudinal placement of the powertrain. Sales of the station wagon are scheduled to start in the second half of 2016.

There is no exact information about the technical content, but most likely, the wagon will get the same engines as the higher-class crossover.
