The Krasnodar region was hit by a powerful thunderstorm front that caused a real flood.
In Sochi and Adler, cars, including even large ones, are literally floating along flooded streets.
Flights are delayed at Sochi airport: at least a thousand passengers are waiting for their flights, which were redirected to other airports due to the storm. Authorities urge citizens not to leave their homes. Evacuation of people from flooded areas has also begun.
