The defense ministers of Ukraine and the United States, Stepan Poltorak and Ashton Carter, agreed on the supply of a new batch of military Humvees.
"The sides considered issues of ongoing U.S. assistance in the security sector to the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Border Guard Service, including the delivery in mid-July of an additional 100 HMMWVs and continuous training of the National Guard of Ukraine forces in Yavoriv," the website of the U.S. Department of Defense reports.
Recall, this is not the first batch of military Humvees that the Ukrainian side receives from the United States.
