Due to the warming, sticking of wet snow and ice on the roads, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine has appealed to drivers to be careful and attentive on the roads and to follow traffic rules.
“The SES of Ukraine reminds that in icy conditions the braking distance increases, so it is necessary to choose a safe speed mode, take into account the intensity of traffic, as well as the features and condition of the vehicle,” the agency reminds.
It should be noted that in icy conditions you need to be extremely careful on windy sections of the road, when approaching intersections and traffic lights, as well as on bridges. In these places, ice is most likely to occur.
