The corresponding draft law has already been prepared — it is titled "On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine Regarding the Unified Fee Collected at Checkpoints across the State Border of Ukraine." The document provides for a twofold increase in the rate of the unified fee for each kilometer of travel for foreign buses and freight transport.
Thus, the Cabinet of Ministers expects to obtain an additional source of funding, which will be used for the development and maintenance of highways.
