According to the Ukrainian Automobile Association "Ukravtoprom", this concerns the new car market. In particular, 7,765 new passenger cars were registered in April, which is 71 percent less than in April 2013. Compared to March, the decline is also significant – almost 30 percent.

According to forecasts of automotive market experts, May results may be even more alarming, but it is possible that the upcoming elections will play a role. As is often the case in Ukraine, citizens may start buying cars, fearing an unforeseen situation in the country.
As for the leading brands in April, the TOP-5 is as follows:
1) Geely (964 units)
2) Toyota (913 units)
3) ZAZ (775 units)
4) Hyundai (382 units)
5) Kia (326 units)
