The purpose of the possible innovations is to create more comfortable conditions for motor traffic.
The press service of the State Automobile Inspectorate says, "As experience from previous years shows, increasing the permitted speed limit may be introduced on main city-wide streets and sections of highways within the city limits of Kyiv."
Accordingly, from 01.04.2014 to 01.11.2014, as an experiment, on some streets, or more precisely on road sections where road conditions allow, it is proposed to raise the speed limit to 80 km/h.
The State Automobile Inspectorate invites Kyiv residents to take part in the discussion of this issue and leave their wishes on the website of the Department of the State Automobile Inspectorate or send them to the email address [email protected]. Voting and discussion will last until March 21.
