Work on the ZIL lasted several years. The most important change that affected the old Soviet truck was replacing the standard engine with a 600-horsepower V8 from BMW. Recently, AcademeG has perfected the vehicle: optimized the engine and gearbox operation (achieved even better synchronization), improved the suspension, and even installed a folding visor – that is, an active spoiler, like, for example, on the Bugatti Chiron.

Result? With all the modifications, the ZIL-130 managed to accelerate to 100 km/h in an impressive 5 seconds. For instance, the hybrid Porsche Cayenne has a similar figure. Moreover, this is only seconds slower than the Lamborghini Gallardo's sprint!
