After a cool April, many hoped that May would bring truly warm weather. Indeed, there were several days during the month that felt like summer, but short warm spells were followed by cold snaps, and this repeated several times. Now, having endured prolonged rains, we again expect warmth. It will come, but not as we imagined it — thermometers across most of the country will rise only a few degrees, and precipitation will become less frequent and local in nature.
On Friday, May 21, daytime temperatures are expected to be +17…+18°C, with the exception of Luhansk and Donetsk regions, where the air will warm up to +23°C. Rain is possible on this day in Rivne, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, and Odesa regions.
