The Haval H9, presented at the Beijing Auto Show, is the company's first luxury-class SUV. It retains the excellent off-road capability of classic body-on-frame models and the quite decent quality of Great Wall. Its design is modern and does not have an Asian flavor.

Buyers have a choice of two powertrains: a 2-liter turbocharged engine paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission, and a 3-liter turbo engine with 328 hp. The latter is mated to an 8-speed automatic. The all-wheel-drive Smart 4WD transmission has intelligent control and includes an electronic differential lock. For an additional fee, a winch and a towing device can be installed.

The three-row seven-seat interior has come close in quality to its Korean and Japanese counterparts. The driver and passengers will not feel discomfort even on a long journey.

The car's equipment with adaptive headlights, a multimedia system with a color touchscreen display on the center console with internet access, a hi-end Infinity audio system, and climate control with an air purification system emphasize the developers' focus on status.

The price and start date of sales are not yet known. Most likely, the car will be more affordable than its Japanese and European competitors. And given that the Great Wall brand has established itself only positively on the Ukrainian market, its popularity is guaranteed.
